RAF Escorts for Daylight Raid 29th January 1944
 

Hi,

Looking to establish squadrons and wings involved on escorting a Bomber Command daylight raid against Krefeld on January 29th 1944.

No.3 Group reports that 6 squadrons of RAF Mustangs Escort, 6 Spitfire Squadrons Escort Cover. Two squadrons of Spifires Target cover, while four RAF Mustang squadrons swept the Ruhr ahead of force.

Any help very much appreciated.
