repainted me262 fuelgauge?

Hi guys, any idea of the yellow white red paint on this me262 fuelgauge is original? it looks rather new (postwar) when you compare with other yellow painted fuel gauges.

The paint in your photo is new. Actually, all the other instruments the seller is offering have newly-painted rings.
