I presume you are asking about the base from which the American aircraft came?

Yes, you are right. I meant the base from which the American aircraft had come.

The 15th AF (based in Italy) bombed refineries at Moravska-Ostrava,
Czechoslovakia on December 17th, 1944. The bombers were based in airfields
located around Foggia.
