Mysterious object

A friend of mine sent me these images hoping that I could identify this object, but I am unable to do so.
Can anyone help me?

Hello

Looks like some compressed air or oxygen tank. However, it seems to be a lot too tall for an onboard installation, so perhaps from some ground equipment ? Do you have some indications where and under wich circumstances the object was found ?
