Our last JG27er. Werner Porath 1922-2021

We mourn our last gentleman, waffenwart JG27. Stalwart, modest and a most decent soul. Went to North Africa in 1942, from furstenfeldbruck with yband playing music on the way to the train. Decades later we went together there. For him, quietly, it was long ago faces remembered. In those decades of out reunions many stories added to the archive.
We’ll miss him dearly.
