can you help me understand the wording behind this picture of KG100 personnel, taken in Toulouse in 1943 ?

I read "Mit Erich Kemmerzell vor dem B.z.B. Stand"

In English: With Erich Kemmerzell in front of the B.z.B. Stand.

However I have no idea what B.z.B. means.

In aircraft B.z.B. means Bord zu Bord, usually used in connection with radio description meaning aircraft to aircraft communications as opposed to aircraft to ground communications. But I don’t know if that would make sense here.

Fw Erich Kemmerzell was killed with 10./KG 2 at Melun 4 Nov 43 so cannot be KG 100

Chris, noted. These guys were with Do217, so KG2 is quite possible as well.

Where do you get he was with KG 100? If 10./KG 2 he would have been under training prior to going to an operational unit unless you can confirm he was with KG 100 prior to that and therefore was an instructor. The lack of awards would indicate the former

What is BzB, that is the question. I don't know but perhaps:

Baracke zum B... / or else : Baracke zur B... (depending on the article : either der or das, or die)

Our German friends could find out, maybe?

to answer your question : I mentioned KG100 because this picture is part of a batch of Do217 pictures, allegedly "taken in Toulouse".
