Re: Barry Rosch's database
Andy: Do we even know what happened to Barry R.? I haven't heard from him or seen any posts by him in 17 years or so. Is he still with us?

Re: Barry Rosch's database
Barry Rosch turned 80 last year and all his collection and work is in my capable hands to continue his quest.
And no the database is not available publicly. Regards, Norbert |
Re: Barry Rosch's database
That was a relief Norbert
If you are in contact with him, give him by best regards and thanks. Never been in contact with him myself, but I owe him a lot! Take Care Stig |

Re: Barry Rosch's database
Thanks for the update, Norbert. I worked closely with him on his Luftwaffe Verband publication from 1995 to 2001 or 2002, gave him copies of my notes on small and minor Luftwaffe units and even stayed at his house in Cary/NC for a weekend once or twice. Then we got into a row a couple of years later over publication rights and broke off contact.
You said: "...........to continue his quest." Can you elaborate on that? Do you mean Luftwaffe codes and markings? L. |
Re: Barry Rosch's database
Thanks Larry. Anyway, his quest is the database that he has been working on for most of his life. l will continue this work.
Best Regards, Norbert |

Re: Barry Rosch's database
Nice to know he´s well. I have the LV from number 1 (January 1995) to number 41 (January 2005) Unfortunatelly I missed the last ones (I guess 42 to 45). It was great to read all magazines with interesting articles and the photo caption info given by members.
