IV./JG 54 losses 16. or 17.04.44
 

Hello. Can anyone help with the exact day groundcrew of IV./JG 54 were killed 32 km von Orsowa "am Eisern Tor", probably during a transfer flight ?
I have a mix-up of dates. Fold3 gives them all on 16.04.44 while VDK gives both 16 and 17.04.44. Any details of the aircraft and crew involved would be welcome also.

Absturz infolge Beschuß von P-38 der 82 FG (2nd Lt Griffith). Bruch 100 %. 12 Fluggäste von 10., 11. und 12./JG 54 tot.

1944-04-17, 11./TG 4, Ju 52/3m g8e, 501132, 1Z+JX, 32 km südlich Orsowa
Notwasserung in Donau infolge Brennstoffmangel nach Luftkampf. Bruch 100 %. 12 Fluggäste von 12./JG 54 tot.

So the date of death for the ones lost in the 11./TG 4 are all wrong in Fold3. Another missing gap complete now.
