Which are Staffenn of Jagdgeschwader 53 which remained on British Isles (at Guernsey) into 1940/1941.

I don't believe that JG 53 was based on Guernsey but forward refuelled from Rennes. They had gone from western France by late Aug/early Sep 40 but I believe that 5/JG 53 came back for a short time at the end of Sep 40. Much of JG 53 returned to Germnany in Dec 40 but then returned to the Pas de Calais in 1941

For Villiaze/Guernsey, Jochen Prien used the word "Absprungplatz" for the I./JG53, II./JG53 and the III./JG53 between july and the 24th august 1940.
