Ju88 shot down Beaufighter 10 May 1941

Hi guys

It would seem that a Ju88 (from Sicily) shot down a Beaufighter of 252 Squadron over the Med on 10 May 1941. It is believed that the Ju88 also sustained damage.

Any details, please?

Take care, stay safe

There is a Gen.Qu. loss report, but it provides minimal information. Maybe there is casualty report that could shed more light? (I haven't checked the Shores volume that might include this. - on edit. Nothing listed there either.)

Ju88, , n.n., 2.(F)/123, , , 10-May-41, Enemy fire. Bf WIA., X.Fl.Korps/Mittelmeer, Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #3)-Vol.4; Avions #107, p.32, bei Malta, b, F, Bf Fw. Helmut Zieslack
