Hello,

seeking Informations regarding the Loss of Ltn. Udo Schwarz 3./NJG3 30.May 1943 near Schneeren / Steinhuder Meer Area (Lower Saxony). Ltn. Schwarz was a former Member of NJG 101 and detached to NJG3 at the time of the Loss.
M. Balss in his Book (Nachtjagdverluste) listed the Loss as accident without further Infos.

in the GQM loss return 31 May 1943, item 196 is listed:
Ursache: Absturz, Aufschlagbrand, Bf 110 E-2 2533 100%.

any signs in the GQM for the Reason of this Loss.... maybe return Fligt to Vechta from Wunstorf ???

Michael Balss gives as aircraft Bf 110 E-2 coded D5+EP from 6./NJG 3 and the pilot as belonging to 3./NJG 101.

interesting... due to Eyewitness / Timewitness the Loss happened during the Daytime....

in the GQM loss return are no details about the reason of the loss. The flight is signed with "H" (= Heimatverlust), it was a non-operational flight, but no more info.

NVM also says "Kein Feindflug" and "Absturz"
