StG.2 loss (crash) on 8 July 1942 - Russland

Good morning to all.

Does someone do have a crash or loss recorded for a Ju 87 Stuka from StG 2 "Immelmann" (code T6 clearly visible) that crash landed (probably hit on the engine or which suffered engine failure) on the 8 July 1942 in Russland?

This machine was later salvaged or recuperated by the Germans. Am trying to determine the other code after T6+ and if possible the crewmembers of the machine.

Jim and Leo,

My gratitude for the information about those 3 losses. Without both of you I wouldn't know about them.

Sadly I am still unable yet to scan the photograph and check the full code of the machine. However it looks like the first one (60% damaged) fills what I can see on the photo. The machine was recovered by a LW team and heavily camouflaged with trees. There was another shot showing it being recovered by a truck, but I lost this one.

The date is clearly 8 July 1942 and we can not see too much damages on it...When I will be able to fix the PC where I do have the Photoshop installed, I shall post the image here.

However, we can not discount a machine recovered on the 8 July but damaged on the previous day...

STIG pointed me out two (02) Ju 87 R-2 that made "Notlandung" (emergency landings) from the III Gruppe, which were:
a) Ju 87 R-2, werknummer 6008 near Tschaschniki
b) Ju 87 R-2, wekrnummer 6003 (*from 8 Staffel) near Lepel (this one with engine damaged).

Is there MORE information about those machines codes and crews?

In the GQM loss returns (BA Freiburg version) the reasons for the losses were classified:
Ju 87 R-2 6003 Notlandung infolge Motorschadens, loss category 5 = destroyed by gunfire from enemy aircraft on an operational flight
Ju 87 R-2 6008 Notlandung, loss category 20 = destroyed without enemy action on an operational flight.

Jim P and Leo

Again my gratitude for your kind corrections and information. So 8 July 1941 for the two R-2 machines. I shall correct the dates.

The photo do have some caption behind written in German, but sadly the computer in which I do have Photoshop and other programs is broken down. As soon as I am able to scan it I shall put here.

Most humbly and GRATEFUL,

Adriano
