Ju 88 fired ammunition

A question.

A Ju 88 would normally have 7.92mm ammunition it it's guns.

When the gun is fired, what happens to the casings do the end up in the aircraft or is there a way they would be dropped by the aircraft during firing?

they had collector bags attached to the guns for both MG 15 and MG 81

The ejected empty case would drop into catch chute 14 and drop into container 13.
