You mean Ofw Heinrich Hoffmann of 3./JG 77 and 12./JG 51 missing 3 Oct 41?. Googling his name comes up with a possible cause and name but I am sure that better men than I will be able to confirm one way or another

3.10.41 12./JG 51 Ofw Heinrich Hoffmann + Luftkampf IL-2, 10 km südlich Jelnja, 100% Bf 109 F-2 12876 braune 2.
