Flight Lieutenant A.R. Stewart
 

Stewart was the senior flight commander in 602 Squadron in 1944, taking over the squadron briefly before SLdr Max Sutherland returned to replace SLdr Chris Le Roux.

Can anyone tell me more about his service? I may have posed this question before but can't find my query. He replaced Captain Thorvald Johnssen as "A" Flight commander in August 1944.

Cheers Andy, I am sure I made an enquiry somewhere but it must have been on another forum. The trouble is that Stewart and 602 Squadron give a lot of hits. I am going to go through my Foreman books and Brian Cull and Chris Shores histories to see if he pops up somewhere.
