he crashed with his plane on 11-19-1944
he flew P-51 mustang AG-664,and he became POW
Where crashed his plane ????

Have no crash location but on file that he was hit by Flak and abandoned his aircraft 16.05 hrs 3 km N of Panningen.

AG664 was coded H; F/Lt Ashdown baled out at map ref E8708 which you should be able to find on this excellent site http://www.echodelta.net/mbs/eng-welcome.php

i look at the site and find on E8708 Horstweg(street)
te Maasbree a town about 3 a 4 miles from Venlo-Holland.
