Hi,

I am trying to confirm if this pilot is the B.S Jones that flew with 13 squadron in 1940. I am 70% sure but hopefully someone could confirm this by any source?

Use an Air Force list for around the date you know he flew with Sqn check out index find all B S Jones in it if more than one check rank if only one p/O then me likely your man if more thank one check what branch will need to be general duties hopefully only 1 match and QED

RAF Commands has Basil Silva Jones 40834 awarded the DFC while an Acting Squadron Leader on the 21st January 1944.

Air78/86/32 page 26, has one B S James - 235978.
