PR Mk I Spitfires
Gentlemen,
I'm trying to track down a decent photo of one of the following PR Spitfires: X4383, X4385, X4493 or X4712. If anyone can give me any useful pointers it would be greatly appreciated. TIA Dave W. |

Hi
Know it is not exactly what you are after, but there is a photo of X4492 in Coastal Command losses vol.1. Cheers Nick |
Re: PR Mk I Spitfires
Thanks for that Nick but I am trying to get a shot of one of the four that I listed.

Re: PR Mk I Spitfires
Hi Dave,
I've a bit vague picture of X4712 just after its bellylanding at Texel on 9th April 1941. I thought it was converted to a PR.IV by then. What's your interest in this particular aircraft? Regards, Hans Nauta |
