Was Volkel attacked on this date and if so by whom?

Re: Air Attack on Volkel 3 Oct 44
On 3 Oct 1944 Volkel was an RAF airbase (B.80) and I found no indication of an attack on Dutch websites dealing with the history of the airfield on said date.
Luftwaffe left Volkel after an RAF raid on 3 Sep 1944. Among a/c destroyed were some Me-262s. Regards, Leendert |
