26024 Sqn Ldr C E StJ Beamish

The above, one of the 4 Beamish brothers, was awarded the DFC 7 May 40. Can anyone tell me his Sqn at that time?

Thanks Col - the son is now digging out his logbooks but has no clue even what aircraft his Father flew! He took command of 23 Sqn at RAF Wittering 5 Oct 39 coming from Staff College but then was posted to HQ 25 Gp RAF Brize Norton 23 Jan 40
