LOSS OF B26b 41-18150 10-4-1944
 
B26b MARAUDER 41-18150

On the 10th of April 1944. B26B Marauder No 41-18150, piloted by 2nd LT Howell C. Osborne jr from the 3rd replacement & training squadron USAAF stationed at station 236 Toome. Took off in a flight of three B26B Marauders on a gunnery training flight. As the flyte were on there way back to the station 2nd LT Osborne’s aircraft started to lag behind and loss height and went into cloud. Unfortunately the aircraft Crashed into Chimney Rock mountain in the Mourne Mountains N/Ireland. Resulting in the loss of all the crew.
