I do not claim to have all the axis losses, however this is what I do have in-brief: 1) 1./JG 302, Bf 109, Obfhr. Walter Rödhammer, injured. 2) 1./JG 302, Bf 109, Ltn. Eberhardt Fritz, killed. 8) ?./NJG 6, Me 110, ? 9) ?, Bf 109,? fell onto a hangar at Vát during takeoff. 10) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, hdgy. Benkő Lajos, ok. 11) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, zls. Nyemecz János, murdered by a 31 FG P-51 on open parachute. 12) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, hdgy. Karátsonyi Mihály, injured. 13) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, Vitéz nemes hdgy. Molnár László, killed. Found hanging from a tree after landing with his parachute. 14) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, hdgy. Nánási Kálmán, ok. 15) 101 Vad.Ez., Bf 109, hdgy. Tóth Lajos, ok. Note, these are for the entire day, not just for the specified battle. In fact these events took place rather near the Austrian border, not near Lake Balaton. I hope this helps. Cheers, Gabor |
