Hello,
that day II./KG 53 lost 5 or 6 He 111H-16 by an mid-air crash!! What was the reason for this and how many airman lost their life?

Mid-air collision at Langenneufach. H-16s 160597, 160707, 8477, 160680, 160584. 18 killed 2 injured

Nd unfort. no more data available, regarding this, some extravagant accident , only that , it seems the culprit was the 160584 who rammed the other ones

Hi Hans,

The entry in a Wehrpass of one of the killed just says "tödlich verunglückt" (killed in accident) Signed by the Staka at that time, Hptm Wilhem Köhler (5. Staffel).
