Information concerning loss of Gefrieter Bruno Buchhloz - killed 18.07.1943
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Gefrieter Bruno Buchholz who was a Bordfunker in a transport squadron who was killed over Sicily on the 18th July 1943?

He was confirmed dead on the 8th February 1944.

I have found the Bordfunker Gefr Bernhard Buchholz.
GQM loss return 22 Aug 1943 item 88:
18.7.43 I./TG 1 Feindflug, Auftrag: Sizilien, Ursache: vermutlich Bordwaffenbeschuß, Ju 52 WNr. 7782 1Z+LL 100%.
F Fw Dietrich, Richard vermisst
B Oblt Wiemer, Hans vermisst
Bf Gefr Buchholz, Bernhard vermisst
Bm Ofw Pieper, Wilhelm vermisst.
Correction 20 Jan 1944: Besatzung gefallen, 4 Tote.
