"Another Kind of Courage"

Hi guys

An enquiry/request - should you have a copy of Norman Frank's "Another Kind of Courage", would you mind checking to see if it covers 1940 ASR, specifically Digger Aitken's Walrus exploits, please?

Many thanks in advance

Brian,

Doesn't mention Aitken. Only has a very short overview chapter (six and a bit pages) on the situation in 1940, which mainly focusses on early attempts with Lysanders, HSL and ad-hoc arrangements. It gives a brief background on the Walrus and its pedigree, but nothing regarding ops in 1940. It then picks up from the start of 1941 and main narrative and more detail from then on.

Many thanks, Colin.

Just as I thought. Your answer has saved me having to find a second-hand copy, which would have added to my 1,000+ library, which I'm endeavouring to down-size!

Greetings from chilly Suffolk
