Is this document (JG52 human losses) reliable ?

Hi,

Could somebody familiar with German records or with JG 52's history tell me whether this document can be considered credible ?

http://www.denkmalprojekt.org/Verlus...52_vl_1943.htm

I found the link in a previous post on this forum...

Compared to other docs, there are no clear contradictions but very often some names appear in one but not the other (which could possibly be attributed to the loss of parts or all of JG52's original records...).

Many thanks,

Kolya.

P.S. : Could somebody confirm me whether II/JG52 participated in the Battle of Kursk and/or the following soviet offensives (I've got them as participating, but also in the Kuban area at the time...) ?

As for II./52 participation it depends of what you mean by battle of Kursk. They did not take part in Zitadelle offensive. But part of the unit - approx. half of the Gruppe transferred to Charkow area in early August 1943. There are some details (not much of it) in recent II./52 book by Bernd Barbas.

kind regards,
Pawel
