Please can anyone provide details on the loss of Oberst Otto Heymer who was killed on the 25.02.1943?

Hi,

I have found that he was with Stab Luftwaffen Kommando Ost.

Possibly flak?

He did not die an aviators death...
The cause of death is given as

Lippenkarbunkel - labial carbuncle

(Tod durch Kreislaufschwäche) - (death due to circulatory weakness)
