Hi,

looking for Info`s regarding the Loss of Uffz. Alfred Godeck on 27.March 1940 near Thale (Harz Region). He was member of Fliegerausbildungsregiment 62 / Flugzeugführerschule Quedlinburg.
No Indications in the Book from Michael Balls Part I Sept. 39 - April 40.

Every Help is welcome especially Typ of Aircraft, WNr and Registration /Markings.

Exact place is Georgshöhe, östlich Hexentanzplatz , time 11h45, I could send you the Sterbe Karten concerning Godeck
Plane is not known, in the summary of the accidents for March 1940, plane totally destroyed with 3 man dead there is a lot ,but excluding those who hv codes of front units, the best candidate would be a Do17F-2 RN+N., cause running to low nd trees strafing, in snow shower.

I`ve also the "Sterbe Karte" for Uffz. Godeck.
Staying in contact with a person in Thale and maybe with your "News" we try to find out more.
