3.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. 122 Operational Flights

Please see the attached screen capture from the 3.(F)/122 KTB for 1.9.39

I would be grateful if someone could help with the deciphering of the aircrew names and ranks.

There is the odd one that I can identify e.g. Oblt. Amm. but beyond that.....

The F6+BK crew could be Oblt Amm(B), Uffz Schackert(Bf) and Fw Stranz(F). This was the crew of this aircraft when it was lost on 9.9.39.

A great many thanks for your help, a comprehensive reply.

This will help me interpret the crew names on the operation flights made on other dates in Sept 1939 and recorded in this KTB.

The KTB you do have do cover only 1939 or the full war period?
Can we look forward a forthcoming "History" of Aufkl.Gr. 122 arising in the futur? Wish so!

This KTB only covers Sep 1939...The 122 Diary is as close as I'll get to a "History" I'm afraid.

There is more to upload in the next weeks though.
