Can anyone tell me this pilot's christian names? His service number is either R138318 or R138518 and he was on the Sqn Jan-Feb 44

R/138318 was AC2c Ian Alexander MacDonald. RCAF.

Probably a typo of Alex re MacDonald from http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...5228#post25228 (#1) If MacDonald R/138318 then Stevenson likely R/138518. Regards, Leendert |

A check in the F540 has him as both F A and H A Stevenson

Air 27/1509/1 page 5, has a casualty list for 31/01/44 where he is listed as 138318 F/S. Stevenson H A. (Pilot).

Thanks. By June 1944 he had been commissioned and was still with 252

Gone through the F540. H A Stevenson R138518. He gets commissioned in June, retaining his NCO service number until end of July 1944 when it becomes J15274!
