Does anyone have a photo of this pilot who was taken POW 10 Mar 41? Simon Parry did have one but sadly can no longer locate it

Hi Chris,

There are two photographs of a Oblt. Hermann in Möhlenbeck / Leihse, Ferne Nachtjagd, p.38 and 58.

In a list of I./NJG2 officers names I only find Oblt. Kurt Herrmann, so it may be reasonable to assume that Möhlenbeck's spelling is incorrect.

He was born 13 Dec 13 Carsten. Received DKiG in Oct 42 and promoted to Hptm when POW

Thanks to others, I now have his career history and a photo of him. With 9 victories by March 1941, he was recommended for the RK but did not get it as he was taken POW a few weeks later
