Hello,
I just have a question concerning Bruno Stolle, after his 35th victory on May 29, 1943 and his appointment on July 1, 1943, Stolle was appointed Gruppenkommandeur of III./JG 2. Why this one-month break in JG 2 ?

Daniel: I have answered you separately but according to Jochen Prien, he took over around 25 Jun 43. Maybe between 29 May and then he was on leave, was not flying or simply did not claim anything in combat
