German maps marking explanation
good morning every one ,
I am not at all an expert in WWII German maps and I would like to know if someone could help me as to the location of the following areas (which are crash places of Ju88C6 of ZG1 in Apr 1944); I guess they are in the South West of France as ZG1 was based in Bordeaux at that time but any precision on their geographical area will be welcome; Thanks a lot. Hi, Gilles,
You could download here https://www.gyges.dk/reporting_grids.htm my LUMA converter (and the pdf explanation) for free. Then can convert degree/minutes/second geo data here https://www.pgc.umn.edu/apps/convert/ into decimal geo coordinates to enter into google maps |
Re: German maps marking explanation
