There was a thread on this book back in May when it was first announced.

One member here posted on Tom Womack's FaceBook page asking that question and received this reply from the author:

"It is approximately 45% longer with new, updated and expanded content. The 1st edition had 35-40 maps and photos. The 2nd edition will have around 90. Definitely worth the price of admission!"

I'll be getting it for the extras, me thinks.
