Information concerning loss of Uffz. Alfons Wältl - killer 24.03.1944
 

Hi,

I have looked on the net and other Luftwaffe databases to find information on Uffz. Alfons Wältl but could not find him anywhere.

Could someone please dig a bit deeper to find information on his loss. His sterbebild names him as a bordfunker in a bomber squadron who has earned the EK II and Flight Badge in Bronze and Wound Badge.

He was lost over the East on the 24th March 1944.

Hello Rick,

according to the website www.denkmalprojekt.org Uffz Adolf Wältl was born on 6 Oct 1920 at Ottmaring (county Deggendorf, Lower Bavaria) and died on 27 March 1944 near Bialystok. His unit was the 4./KG 4.
