Reggiane RE2005 MM.96105 in Rechlin ?
 

Hello,

do you have any information or evidence about the Reggiane RE2005 MM.96105 (or any other RE2005 frame nr.) that might have been in Rechlin in August 1943 ?
Maybe from the RL2-III/7xx documents ?

Someone who emailed me in 2011 said that this was one of the aircraft assigned to Fliegerzielstaffel 20 in Italy but I don't know what his source was.

If you want to search, a lot of the RL 2-III series are available online now from Bundesarchiv Invenio.

Italian data states MM96105 was delivered to Luftwaffe 2 Oct 1943 so it cannot have been at
Rechlin in August.

The aircraft suffered from tail vibration and had to be modified during September.
It was tested (by diving) later in that month and was cleared for delivery.
