Interned Lw aircrew
 

Hi guys

On reading another post, I was interested to learn that Fw Gerhard Juengel of 1/JG52 was interned in Turkey on 25/7/43. For how long was he interned? I assume other Lw personnel were interned in Turkey at different times. Any info on whom they were? Aircraft type? Date? Fate?

Were Lw personnel interned in other neutral countries apart from Sweden, Switzerland and Eire? Any in Spain or Portugal?
