B17 S/N 25266
God morning / evening , depending where you are when you read
I have a picture of a B17 early model, painted Olive drab, early stars (in circle) with S/N 25266 painted on the fin, and there is a white square painted under the S/N. This picture was taken by a RAF trainee in Canada, most probably in 1943. One can imagine that it was a B17 ferrying to Europe, and I would love to know more about this aircraft. Has somebody some background about this B17 ? Thanks GC |
