ID of Italian biplane in 4th FS/52th FG service
I refer to a picture scrapbook of the 52th FG on the NARA website.
In it is this picture of an Italian biplane on page 40: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/148028024?objectPage=40 Any info welcomed, thanks. Regards, Leendert |

This is a Breda 15S sports / utility from 1928 re-built by the 4FS and flown as a "hack"; the Sqn. insignia was on the tail.
( it's photo 220 on mine). Regards Nick |

Another photo here with some info:
https://www.google.com/books/edition...sec=frontcover The plane was a high wing monoplane. "WD" was the squadron code, "4F" is the designation/classification by the draft board of a man unfit for service. |
