Damaged He111 30 May 1940

Hi all,

Does anyone have any information of a He111's that were damaged on 30 May 1940. This action would of happened around the Dunkirk area when attacked by 220 Squadron Hudson's.

It was reported by the Hudson crews the He111 jettisoned all its bombs to gain height to carry out a quick get away!

The combat was at 1735 hrs and involved Hudsons L, V, C. There was only one He 111 which was reported damaged by enemy action which was from Stab/KG 27 and which crash-landed near Lille but without a time, this cannot be positively linked with the Hudsons
