In the book One Ton Lancs:
https://books.google.com/books?id=gn...page&q&f=false on page 45, 3rd column near the bottom. FO E. C. Lobsinger is listed on the crew of Lancaster DV245. This plane flew in 101 squadron. |

Re: F/O E.C Lobsinger, RCAF
His service number was J40415. He was in training in early 1944 so probably went overseas later that year. He was from Ontario, (maybe Stratford??).

Re: F/O E.C Lobsinger, RCAF
He's mentioned in Vol. 2, 1942 of the magazine Canadian Air Cadet as member of 19 (Stratford) Squadron. No first name here either...

Re: F/O E.C Lobsinger, RCAF
Hi Danny,
I found him twice in my database about the BC missions to Chemnitz. He flew in the crew of F/L Robert Arthur Andrew, Lanc I, DV407, SR-R2, No. 101 Sqdn. Best wishes, René |
Re: F/O E.C Lobsinger, RCAF
Danny,
Looks like your man is Elmer Cletus Lobsinger, NCO service number possibly R155310, commissioned 14/1/44 as a navigation officer, notice in The Canada Gazette dated 26/2/44. Regards, Mark. |
