Oblt Walter Lardy
 

Does anyone have anything more on this pilot other than what Doug and Larry have? Leutnant at the start of the war, St Kap 16./KG 6 in late 1942, 4./ZG 26 and then 3./JG 103. I have two claims for him and there appears to be no PERS 6 file

Chris, I put quite some time and effort in trying to find more on Oblt. Lardy. After his time with 3./JG 103 he joined JG 6 where he stayed until the end of the war. Unfortunately I was unable to trace him. Former member of JG 6 told me he died in 1978 in south east Asia. Anything specific that you are looking for?

I have two claims, one on 31.3.43 and one on 29.11.43.

As you see, only bits and pieces due to lack of original sources...the KG 6 data comes from Horn. Never saw the source for that.

Thanks John. The Erpr. Staffel Me 210 fits as I have his signature as Kdo Fhr in March 1942. 16./KG 6 became 11./ZG 1 and then Erpr. Staffel Me 410
