Hurricane Fates

Can anyone tell me the eventual fates of P2798 and P2829, both of which flew with 87 Sqn in 1940?

According to James J Halley " RAF Aircraft P1000-R9999 "

P2798. 87Sqn. Abandoned after engine failure at night near Marshfield, Glos., 23.10.41.

P2829. 55 OTU. Damaged 3.8.41; converted to Mk.II ( DR355 ) during repair.

Thanbks for this. My 87 Sqn diary for the first entry says: Sgt Horsham at night baled out when his engine cut. He landed safely after getting caught in a tree

Yes Chris, this is also what I can read in " Hurricane Squadron " by Perry
Adams. The date is not clearly given but this is the one !
