fate of a Ju88 crew

Dear all

We are investigating on the fate of the the crew of a Ju88.

The Ju 88 A-17, 823084, 1H+FS, 8./KG 26 crashed on 27/7/44 at 40 km Süd of Limoges (in the center of France), by lack of fuel.

We know that the Bordwart Fw Dörrstein, Albert (*1914-02-17, EM 62834/50) became a Prisoner of war and it seems that the whole crew left the aircraft with parachutes and survived unwounded.

Only Dörrstein was captured and the others returned.
But unfortunately we have no names of those : can some one help us in this respect ? and bring information on them ?
Thanks in advance
Gilles

Nothing more reported on the NVM than Fw. Dörrstein

Thanks John.

is there any means to know more about what happened to Dorrstein ? since he was made a POW, there was certainly a questioning of him, and therefore a report of what he said,

how could I find such report ?

Thanks for your advice

Gilles

It all depends on who captured him. By this date interrogation reports were not as important

At this time the country around Limoges was effectively controlled by the Resistance. The city itself was not liberated until 21 August according to this page: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrono...tion_en_France
