Hptm Dr Horst Patuschka
 
The above was a successful night fighter pilot with NJG 2 but was a bomber pilot before transferring in 1941-Larry and Doug have nothing so can anyone help?

Hi ,

His 3the victory was a Hampden P1185 from 14OTU near Leffinge Belgium on August 1 1942. Does who died were buried at Adegem War Cemetery.

I think Doug and I pretty well stopped our fresh research in the primary documentation just prior to the availability of the PERS 6 records becoming available online via Invenio on the BA-MA website. At least I did. So the officer personnel records are virtually unexplored by either of us. Old age caught up with me, and failing health caught up with Doug, although he continues at a considerably reduced pace.

....and a great job you and Doug have done Larry. Thanks to Carsten P, Patuschka was at a series of flying schools prior to joining NJG 2 so no actual combat experience until then. He did lead 2./KGrzbV 104 in Norway in April 1940
