Mystery Ju 88 Loss

Just obtained a photo which shows a ditched Ju 88 presumably off the French Coast. On the reverse it states:

Emergency-landed Ju 88 on the return flight from London. Crew of 4 men was rescued by Flak battery. Was on the night of September 27, 1940, 1 a.m. Lost orientation due to rain and fog and pursued by English fighters over London.

Neither Matti or myself can come up with any matches. A III./KG 51 aircraft was reported overdue that night but this night is missing from the KTB. The Lagebericht mentions the loss of a Ju 88 but that is all. Any thoughts?

Some possible II./KG 77 contenders here: http://www.ghostbombers.com/1940/Losses/loss_14.html

Thanks Nick but from what I can see no KG 77 aircraft ditched at night off the French coast?

Nothing in the Y-Service's intercepted sea-rescue traffic that I can see.
