What means FRW Saarpfalz?
 

In a listing of damaged planes there is this information about the location: FRW Saarpfalz at Speyer. Could not find any info abou this unit. Thanks for any help!

Sorry Gentlemen, all wrong! FRW stand for "Flugwerke Pfalz", the former Pfalz Flugzeugwerke during WW I (Pfalz D-III, D-IIIa, D-XII etc.)
During WW II the Flugwerke Pfalz where part of the nation wide Air Industry Repair System. Today it is part of Hutchinson Aerospace!

My response was only to translate "Front Reparatur Werft".

But the abbreviation of "Flugwerke Pfalz" was PFW, wasn't it?

Hello,
from 1. Oktober 1937 it was "Flugwerke Saarpfalz GmbH Speyer". My be the "R" is an bad written "G"?
