There was a W/O Jeffries .... I think as the ORB is really hard to see, that served with 143 Sqn in Feb 1943, would anyone please be able to provide his first name please?

W/O. William Alan JEFFRIES, 565683, RAF.
a/c flown in Beaufighter XI's "G" JL948 and a/c "Q" JL943 for examle.
Ref 143 Sqdn ORB, 1943.
Lost over the Bay of Biscay on 25th August 1943 in Beaufighter XI JM159, "P". Pilot was F/O. Raymond Trevor CHINERY, 124995. Three other Beaufighter 's were lost , they were : JL886,"N"; JL942,"T"; JL880, "C". Seems they were attacked by six or so FW190's.
