Abbreviations in NF diary
 

In a diary of a nightfighter pilot the following is mentioned:
“Von vorn Li-Erfassung. Begegnung sofort 180 Grad Bison, Ente 4, Marie 3. Weitere Li-Erfassung.”
Does anyone know what the references to Bison, Ente and Marie mean?

When used with the EGON blind-bombing procedure:

Ente = distance to target
Marie 3 = 300 metres
Li = Lichtenstein

Bison is new to me. Maybe it's a radar station which were often named after animals, birds and insects.
