Ramrod 159 26 July 1943
 

This was an attack on Wevelghem/Courtrai by 88 and 107 Sqns. I have escort from 222, 129 Sqn (High Cover), 66 and 504 Sqn (Escort Cover) and 302 and 317 Sqns (Close Escort). Withdrawal cover was by 303 and 316 Sqns. Were there any other sqns involved? RAF claims again over-optimistic while Luftwaffe claims were pretty accurate
